Description
This collection includes a signature book for this prominent 19th century Philadelphia bank which is arranged alphabetically and each entry includes a number (possibly account) and a date, which perhaps refers to the time of a transaction; and a series of letters addressed to the bank’s cashier requesting a change of signature, including requests from the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Friends Asylum for the Insane.
