Description
The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH; Irish: Ord Ársa na nÉireannach) was founded in 1836, with membership predominantly in the United States. In addition to social events, the organization opposes anti-ethnic bigotry (particularly anti-Irish and anti-Catholic), raises money for charity and disaster relief, and promotes education in Irish history. Materials created by the Irish-American Catholic fraternal order the Ancient Order of Hibernians, including information about Northern Ireland, a ledger, newspaper clippings, and regalia.
